Over the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed three new team members who each play an important role in our continued professionalisation. With extra strength in sales, operations and technical maintenance, we’re ready to serve our customers even better and keep every delivery running smoothly.

Melissa – Sales Manager
Melissa recently joined our sales team as Sales Manager. Together with Silas, she’ll be one of the main faces of Leybaert for our customers. Her arrival allows us to respond even faster to customer requests and provide more personalised guidance in their plant selection. Melissa brings along a wealth of experience from the retail floor — a real asset, as she literally speaks the language of our customers. With her warm personality and commercial flair, she’s already found her place here.

Lieven – Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Lieven is Tom’s right-hand man and one of the driving forces behind the scenes. He keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently across the organisation. With his calm approach and hands-on mindset, he manages to keep an overview even on the busiest days. His broad expertise and eye for improvement make sure Leybaert stays future-ready.

Always overdressed or always cold? 🧥 Always overdressed – better to sweat than to shiver. As a volunteer firefighter, I’m used to keeping a cool head even when things heat up.
City break in New York or road trip through Scandinavia? 🚐 Scandinavia every time! My wife dreams of New York, but I prefer peace, space and raw nature.
Jeroen – Maintenance Technician
Jeroen strengthens our technical team as Maintenance Technician and ensures all installations run like clockwork. With his technical know-how and eye for detail, he spots issues before they arise and tackles every challenge with a practical mindset. Exactly the kind of problem-solver every grower needs.
