This September, we wrapped up another inspiring edition of our Leybaert Open Days. Over the course of six days, we had the pleasure of welcoming many familiar faces and new visitors to our nursery — a week filled with great conversations, fresh ideas and genuine enthusiasm.
Visitors not only discovered our extensive assortment and newest concepts but also got a unique behind-the-scenes look at our daily operations. The guided tours offered insight into the entire process — from cutting to loading on the truck — and were highly appreciated.
Many were impressed by the level of automation, our focus on sustainable production with water recycling and energy storage, and our innovative approach to growing the plants of tomorrow. Guests were introduced to our four advanced rhododendron ‘smart breeding’ varieties and joined us in the fields, where drones act as an extra pair of eyes to monitor our crops — allowing us to act swiftly and precisely whenever needed.
